The PECFEST DP

The DP is the central visual identity of PECFEST, bringing its theme and main character to life. Inspired by ancient Japan, our hand-painted artwork features the central character of Mystic Mikado — a Japanese prince wielding his katana, set against the rising sun, cherry blossoms, and the majestic Mount Fuji. Standing proudly in the Meta Parking at Punjab Engineering College, the DP embodies the spirit and grandeur of this year's theme.

Fabricated with precision using structural timber framing and layered canvas paneling, the DP serves as the iconic backdrop where thousands of fest attendees, artists, and dignitaries gather to commence the celebrations.
